Forget the interface lets talk experience - accessibility beyond WCAG

14th Oct 2:00pm - 2:40pm BST Lloyd Boardroom

Session Description

Accessibility is often framed as accommodating disabled people but what if we viewed it as filling gaps in experience design. Viewing users holistically and finding places where the intended interactions don't work or leave participants wanting.

In this session we will plan a technology agnostic experience looking for where we see gaps and what solutions may work. Towards the end of the session we will discuss what technologies could be used. This will be an interactive session with the room working together to think through solutions and collaboratively work through finding accessibility problems.

What does this mean?
* Making requirements
* Discussing and investigating  potential issues
* Creating a full solution plan to a problem including requirements and a basic user experience design
