Simplifying Azure WebApp Deployment with Power Automate and Azure Automation

Azure WebApps are a popular platform for hosting web applications and websites but deploying them in a standardized and secure way can be challenging and time-consuming. IT staff often must run scripts, tweak templates, or perform manual steps just to get empty websites up and running. This presentation will show how we used Power Automate to simplify the deployment of Azure WebApps and their surrounding infrastructure, using Microsoft Forms to collect user inputs and Azure Automation to run PowerShell commands. We will demonstrate how this solution saves time and ensures consistency, as well as share some lessons learned and best practices for using Power Automate and Azure Automation together.
