Colleen Gorman
Biography
Colleen Gorman holds a master’s degree in Assistive Special Education Technology from Simmons College and a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College. She is the teacher for students on the medical units at Franciscan Childrens and also the Reading Specialist for the Kennedy Day School. Her career began in Wellesley Public Schools as a one-on-one assistant for a student with severe special needs, where she discovered a passion for assistive technology and adapting lessons to meet each learner's unique needs. Since then, she has supported learners of all ages—from preschoolers using communication devices to seniors in their 90s learning to navigate iPhones. Colleen is dedicated to adapting tools and strategies to meet each individual's needs and help them reach their full potential.
