Tara Minatta is a Credit Risk Associate on the Healthcare, Higher Ed and Not-for-Profit (HHN) team at J.P. Morgan Chase. She is responsible for serving the complex needs of essential entities nationwide, spanning from NFPs with $50MM in revenue to multi-state NFP healthcare systems, foundations and universities with over $5Bn in top-line revenue or assets.

Tara started her career at J.P. Morgan Chase as a Summer Intern in 2021 on the Commercial Bank’s Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) team in Denver, supporting companies with $20MM–$500MM in revenues. She joined as a full-time Analyst in June 2022 as part of the Firm’s rotational program, working on the Core Treasury team in which she assisted with a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution and hospitality, among others across the Intermountain Region (CO, UT, MT, WY, ID). She also spent time underwriting to companies nationally in the Government, Healthcare, Higher Ed and Not-for-Profit (GHHN) space prior to transitioning to Banking for her final rotation in early-2024, focusing on relationship management. 

Tara is one of the few Colorado natives and is a 2022 alumna of the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Leeds School of Business with a dual B.S. in Finance and Accounting and a Certificate in Leadership. During her time at CU, she was a member of Dean’s Leadership Fellows, Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma and Chi Omega. In Tara’s free time, she loves to attend as many concerts as possible, play tennis and pickleball, snowboard and is currently learning to golf.
