Biography
I am a sophomore at CU Boulder studying business, with a focus on Marketing and information analytics and a minor in communications. I have always been family-oriented. Growing up the youngest of 8 siblings by 11 years left a huge impact on who I am today. I had a unique opportunity to learn from each of them, which taught me how to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life. Observing their journeys allowed me to choose my own path with confidence and a strong sense of individuality.
Currently, I work as an administrative assistant for the Statistical Analysis in Business course in Leeds. In this role, I manage the backend of coursework and host review sessions to support students. Additionally, I serve as a Research Assistant for Professor Laura Kornish, where I analyze business data and manage research documentation. This past semester, I worked as a Peer Innovation Coach for the Dean’s Leadership Fellows, assisting faculty in mentoring first-year students as they transitioned into college. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Working for CU Boulder has been an incredibly transformative experience—both personally and professionally. It has given me the confidence to step into leadership roles, the ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments, and the opportunity to mentor and support others. Through my roles, I have gained firsthand experience in strategic problem-solving, relationship-building, and data-driven decision-making, all of which will be invaluable as I move forward in my career.
Beyond my academic and professional experiences, I am deeply passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures, which I hope to incorporate into my career. Long-term, I aspire to work in a global marketing or consulting role, where I can combine my analytical expertise with creative problem-solving to help brands expand their reach and connect with diverse audiences.
