Rian Finley
Student-Athlete | Nonprofit Founder | Entrepreneur
About me:
I am a student-athlete at the University of Colorado Boulder, playing Volleyball and studying Strategy and Entrepreneurship with a certificate in Business Leadership. I plan to graduate in May 2026 and have a strong passion for philanthropy, innovation, and sustainability.
One of my main focuses right now is leading Dream On 3 Boulder, a nonprofit collegiate chapter that I co-founded in May 2024. Our mission is to provide individuals with life-altering conditions the opportunity to live out their CU based sports dream. I intend to lead the nonprofit until I graduate in 2026 and pass off the program to a selected team member. After graduation, I hope to continue working in the non-profit sector, as philanthropy has been a significant part of my life since childhood.
Beyond my nonprofit work, I love exploring new creative and entrepreneurial ventures. Within the last two years, I started a side business customizing shoes and clothing with hand-painted designs, and I also upcycle and refurbish furniture. Additionally, I am in the process of earning my sailing license.
I have a lot of dreams, and nothing will stop me from pursuing them - or at least giving them my best shot!
