Session Description
Emergency calling in hybrid work environments is complex and requires accurate user location data, correct routing to public safety answering points (PSAPs), and timely notifications to on-site security teams. This session explains how to meet emergency calling requirements such as Kari’s Law and the RAY BAUM’S Act using native Microsoft Teams Phone capabilities. Attendees will learn how to design emergency calling policies, validate dynamic locations, notify the appropriate responders, and maintain compliance as users and networks change. The session emphasizes long-term operational sustainability, audit readiness, and improving employee safety while minimizing administrative overhead.
