Session Description
Identify the structural situations which are conducive to trenchless pipe repair fixes. Including cracks, fractures, breaks, joint separations, root intrusion, and ground-water infiltration. Understand the step-by-step process of trenchless point repair in gravity sewer mains. From preparatory work, resin mixing, patch insertion using a packer, inflation, and curing--to achieve a permanent, structural point repair. Assess the operational benefits of limited resources and manpower by understanding how a minimal crew can perform multiple repairs in a single day, increasing productivity over traditional excavation.
