Biography

Nick Hein, P.E., MBA is a Lead Engineer at Huffman Engineering, where he has worked on utility and industrial projects in automation and control system integrations since first graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming. He has become a trusted resource for Rockwell PLC and HMI programming, software configuration, and Project/Customer Management. His methodical approach to team collaboration is valued across project teams. He has experience in a multitude of industries including pharmaceuticals, medical device, water/wastewater, electric utilities and transportation. Because of this cross-industry experience he has proven to be a creative problem-solver bringing the best solution to fit both small and large clients. Most recently he has worked with teams to serve the Denver Water, the City of Golden, the City of Englewood, Arvada Water, Aurora Water Transportation, CDOT Eisenhauer Tunnel, Meridian Metropolitan Municipalities & the Town of Bennett.
