Amanda Hansen is the Director of the Career Development Office at the Leeds School of Business. As the Director of the Career team, she provides strategic leadership and oversight of career coaching, experiential, and employer relations initiatives.  

Amanda joined the Career Development team in 2013. During her time at Leeds, she has taught several DYL classes for first year students as well as the First Year Global Experience (FGX) course to Amsterdam in 2023. She has been the FGX staff leader for the Greece (2024), Sweden (2022), and France (2015) classes.  

Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Advertising/Public Relations from Midland University, along with multiple certifications in Leadership, Management, and Inclusive Leadership from the University of Colorado Boulder.
