My name is Jack Bakken, I am currently a sophomore at the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business studying finance and accounting. Additionally, I am a member of the investment banking club. I was born in Tucson, but grew up in Highlands Ranch Colorado. I grew up in a very competitive family and playing all sports. My two favorites are golf and basketball. I chose finance and accounting for a couple of reasons. First, both my parents are CPA's, so I spent my whole childhood budgeting, keeping track of receipts and thinking very analytically over all. Second, I love competing and working for everything and believe I will find that in a career within finance and accounting.
