Securing Teams (and everything else Entra)

The talk covers the common security risks and challenges associated with Teams, and how to mitigate them. We will cover both Teams sharing and content security as well as authentication, access and administration security as well – which will take us into the world of Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). The talk will provide practical tips and best practices for securing Microsoft 365.

This will be a deep-dive on what is possible, but there is a lot to cover so come prepared to learn something new that you can take back to your organization or your clients to help improve the security of your Teams deployment. For example, we will cover role-based access control, auditing, authentication (and phish resistance for), protection on malicious links and messages, and how to avoid gaps in your security.
