Session Description

Introduction

As a Subject Matter Expert in Unified Communication, I am excited to propose a session on "The Role of AI in the Meeting Room" for Commsverse. This session will explore the transformative impact of AI technologies on modern meeting environments, enhancing productivity, inclusivity, and collaboration. The discussion will cover various AI-driven innovations, including Copilot for Meetings, the various camera AI technologies such as, Microsoft Intelliframe, vendor-specific AI features and terminology, and a brief look at the ‘state of the art’ today, tomorrow and in the future.  My presentation will cover the following main topics:

1. Copilot for Meetings

Meeting rooms have already been highlighted by Microsoft as a potential blackspot for organisations adopting Copilot, therefore, the role of Copilot in the meeting space is evolving fast.  Find out how to get the best experience for your users to ensure your meeting spaces lean into the benefit Copilot is delivering across your organisation.

2. Camera AI technologies

AI-powered cameras are revolutionizing the way we conduct meetings by providing intelligent framing, tracking, and enhancing video quality but some of the terminology and with so many different solutions and options available, it can be very confusing.  In this section we will explore the capabilities of Microsoft Intelliframe, (cloud and edge), look at some of the leading vendor specific AI features* and attempting to compare the different approaches, as well as a brief look at the ‘state of the art’ of multi-camera and multi-stream video options*.

*Please note, I will not be making recommendations or direct comparisons between any specific vendors or solutions.

Conclusion

The integration of AI in meeting rooms is transforming the way we collaborate, making meetings more efficient, inclusive, and engaging. By leveraging AI technologies such as camera AI, Microsoft Intelliframe, vendor-specific AI features, multi-stream cameras, and Copilot for meetings, organizations can significantly enhance their meeting experiences. I look forward to sharing these insights and more at Commsverse.
