Eric VanCleave
Biography
Eric Van Cleave has worked more than eight years with SmartCover Systems, a provider of satellite-based, real-time remote monitoring technology for wastewater collection systems. He is passionate about environmental sustainability. As President for the California Water Environment Association (CWEA) San Diego Section, Eric is motivated to help find solutions to protect waterways and improve the water and wastewater industry. He has been recognized many times for his stewardship, including being honored in 2024 with the Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers (5S) award. Eric has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Missouri.
