Joe has been with the Water Quality Control Division (WQCD) of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) since 2018. Starting out in the Permits Section, he joined the Local Assistance Unit (LAU) in 2024. Prior to joining CDPHE, Joe worked as a high school teacher in rural Colorado. His experience as an educator informs his work with the Local Assistance Unit where he delivers trainings around Colorado and is tasked with building a coaching program for the Clean Water half of the WQCD.
