Biography

Tigist Yedako, EI, Project Engineer II Tigist Yedako is a Project Engineer at Merrick & Company (Merrick), specializing in the water and wastewater sector. Tigist holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, along with a minor in Engineering Management, from the University of Colorado Boulder. With 5 years of experience in the field, Tigist has developed expertise in asset management, project management, and construction management. Prior to joining Merrick, Tigist worked with one of the largest wastewater utilities in Colorado, where she gained invaluable handson experience in managing small to large-scale capital improvement projects. Since joining Merrick, she has advanced to the role of Design Engineer, where she is leading the development of an asset management community of practice, an initiative aimed at providing and implementing asset management frameworks to utilities to support their asset lifecycle management.
