Biography

Ken has been involved in technical and computer work for more than 35 years. He completed his BA in Communications from Carson Newman University and his MA in Organizational Behavior from Louisiana State University.

After college, Ken spent several years as a Manager of Supervisory Training before transitioning to a career in database development and software design. He had the pleasure of working for Rockwell Industries in support of the Space Shuttle Projects Office at NASA Redstone.

Ken has been in the utility business for more than 25 years. He spent 10 years at Decatur Utilities in Decatur, Alabama as a Senior Manager of IT with supervisory responsibility for all software, dispatch, and field services. Ken also spent 14 years at Harris Computer Systems as VP of the NorthStar, SmartWorks, and Partner groups and has experience in software implementation, software solution design, and smart metering. Ken joined the Core & Main’s National Metering and Technical Solutions team in the summer of 2019 focusing on utility software, smart wastewater and water solutions, and AMI. Ken’s primary responsibility is to integrate technology into municipal utility systems for the purpose of solving problems.
