Mark Webb

Lead Voice and Video Engineer
UK Home Office

Biography

Hi, I'm Mark. I work for the UK Home Office leading the engineering team for all the Voice and Video services we run. We provide all the internal and external (PSTN) telephony for our 70k users as well as video conferencing in our 1,000 meeting rooms across the country.

We also run and support our 40+ contact centres across 2.5k agents.

My specialism is in all things Teams related with a focus on telephony and devices but dabble in all aspects as part of my role.

I also enjoy working with Azure and Power Platform to automate all those things we do day in, day out.

Outside of work, I'm a football fan (Chelsea) and avid watcher of NFL (Seattle Seahawks). I enjoy reading (Fantasy/Sci-Fi) but don't get as much time to do that any more now I have 2 kids to keep an eye on.
